Theres going to be a choice of good players at 47. We'll definitely add someone with starter potential if we dont overthink it. Not having a third is a shame. Theres a huge cluster of Round 2 calibre guys now, which will stretch down into R3. A tradedown would not be the worst idea, unless we had Dawson, Fisher, Clemmings, Jarrett or Kendricks there. Im an Eric Rowe fan, but his stone hands put him in the third round for me, where Id begin to think to have about taking Golson.

A trade down to pick up a fourth or fifth and then packaging a few of them to get into the third would be ideal

As long as Hickey is picking the players, we have no real concerns.

Previous GMs have had to pick with flash and sizzle to impress. Hickey picks with purpose. He fills holes and he gets great value.

We can look at the draft now and know we will get talent. We no longer "hope" a player pans out. We KNOW. What a huge difference quality personnel make.

I think someone snatches him in the latter half of the 3rd, but i'd be ecstatic if he was there with our 4th pick.
