I'm not gonna wait to watch the game a second or third time. Smith played very well. His coverage led to a sack in the first half, and he had a pick in the end zone in the second half.

I may upgrade my report after watching again but, it is doubtful. It's only the PS, and the Jags are not great. However, he did as good as one could ask for.

It was TUFF to give a report as they did not show him in many plays. I think most are gonna have the same problem.

Im watching the game for the second time. He played well

I will do the same to take a closer look. Also, I gotta report on Davis. Seems like I picked the good and the bad. :)

Just hearing that we had signed Green earlier this year from 'Zona made my stomach bothered when there were other quality CBs out there but i think that Tony is putting Sean in the perfect position to show his confidence. Little things like he did tonight along with keeping it at least steady, not spectacular, during the preseason with lock Sean into that 2nd starting CB spot. Just think we could have a 6'4'' Probowl CB, I know Im thinking ahead but I love the sound of it!!

Smith made plays. Enough said. Until the next game. :)

He was also running the receivers routes a step ahead of them in coverage. We'll see if he can duplicate it in the next ps games.

I just watched the game a second time. The only things I can add on Smith is that he did get beat on a play that was negated by penalty, and that he made a SURE tackle in the open field. Can't fault his game.

I really wish that we were playing the Saints in PS #3. That would tell us what we have.

he is special rare combo of size speed and DESIRE...this kid loves to play football and works hard everyday.... he will start day one HE WILL make some mistakes but he seems to have a short memory and can rebound to make great plays.

This kid has lock down written all over him...i hope he really jumps at the opprotunity to cover the big receivers in our division and league.

Add in his 6'8" wingspan and he is scary. Those big WR's have never faced that. I cannot recall a CB with that kind of reach.

Taylor #21 CB for Philly (Notre Dame) in the 90's he was 6'3"... cant recall his first name.

CB Lenny Walls from Denver was 6-4, the Raiders also have a 2nd year CB named Darrick Brown who's listed as 6-4, but anyway..... Smith looks to be a Gamer, Thank God We Got Him!!! I know it's way way too early to make this statement but the Smith pick could have saved our season in a way. Green looks horrible so far and Vontae just looks like he is going to go through some growing pains. I'm know Smith will too, but the kid looks ready to go right now.

Sean Smith played great i watched him as much as i could and i was impressed... But yeah we need to see him more and tested more to know what we have . Hopefully a better Nnamdi Asomugha....
