Well he got his money. He'll be there at least this year & probably traded next year after the Tigers decide they can't afford him.

I applaud the Tigers though for going out & spending some money. They've brought in Pudge, Rondell White, Fernando Vina, & Jason Johnson(overpaid) as an ace.

i honestly think Pudge can do wonders for the Tigers young pitchers. If he is able to turn around their young pitching staff, he can use it as leeway to get more $$$ when his contract is up. i think Pudge was one of the key reason why the Marlins pitchers improved last year. we will see if he is missed behind the plate this upcoming season or not.
