Pumped for Green Bay Game

Green Bays Oline is HORRIBLE, the thing i'm worried about most is Lacy he's a thumper and i don't see wheeler or trusnick having much success against him in the hole/backfield.

i think this is definitely a winnable game and should be a close match

Hopefully the bye week will bring us a whole lot closer to full strength. Having Jones back (and in all likelihood Pouncey too) will be a boost, but if we could get Starks, Misi, McCain, and/or possibly Moreno back for Week 6 that would be a huge help.

Only way I see Miami winning this game is keeping GB under 24 points, which is difficult to do. Cobb and Nelson are phenomenal receivers.

Miami can't play their off-man coverage BS against GB. If you blitz you need to disrupt the timing between quarterback and receivers. Can't let Rodgers get it out after a three step drop. Hopefully Misi is back for this game.

This bye week is also a huge thing for Clay, who has definitely looked nothing like he did last year

Rodgers scares me, he is the best qb in the league now.
But, Green bay's offense is a lot of down field throws. They don't do much dink and dunk which we have trouble with sometimes. I expect Wake and company to have a few sacks with the deep drops, and Rodgers does take a good amount of sacks

Philbins work over bye week is second to none. The team will be prepared as usual and come out with fire and passion.

Should be an interesting game....glad it is a home game.

Green Bay's defense is awful and their o-line is very suspect...but they have Rodgers and he is gonna Rodgers and make plays...hopefully the Phins can limit those plays.

olines a lot better with bulaga back at right tackle...plus they have gone to no huddle...maybe the heat will help us and they wont use it as much against us but it smells like a shoot out game to me...offense better be on point

no reason the offense should not score points these next 2 games...if we dont we'll get smoked...still the way things are going 2-4 even and we are not out of anything division wise

Our CB's have yet to be tested this season. We are bout to find out what we have in our secondary. I feel confident we can score points on Green Bay, but I think my main concern is slowing down the Packer's offense and getting a few key turnovers.

jordy nelson will physically dominate us on the boundary...that's about to be a theme these next 2 games...about to find out what corners who play small is all about...randall cobb vs jimmy wilson ughhh...clay matthews will run down things from the backside like he always does must account for him might get a splash play here or there from peppers but after that not much...lbs should be exploitable

it's a good time to get reshad jones back cause i dont even want to think about how will davis would fair with nelson on the boundary...he'd either play so far off and give away things and maybe leave rac opportunities rallying to tackle or get smoked physically off the line and in the red zone in tight coverage...

we'll play a lot of off stuff against nelson anyways...and as a result give up easy pitch and catch in front of the coverage...better tackle well...cause he's a load rac wise...and to think last year i saw people on here comparing him to brian hartline as similar...lmao

Hopefully our d line can dominate their oline. That's our best chance of winning

I can wait, we have two weeks before the game.....lets build the excitement slowly.....first enjoy the week and reflect on the Raiders game with good thoughts....then Sunday sit down and watch the game with no skin in the game......the rest of our division have tough games.....after the dust settles start thinking about the Packers.......going to be a big game

Yep.

We also have the upcoming FINHEAVEN'S ANNUAL BYE WEEK ROAST.
(this year's honoree poster is currently being determined - stay tuned for the official announcement)

Holy **** they give up 176 rushing yards a game? Worst in the nfl. We rush for 140 yards a game. Run all over them hopefully Knowshon is ready to go

as i said in another thread today, Chicago ran for 235 yards and held the ball for 36+ minutes vs. Green Bay. didn't help them much at all. we still have to keep Rodgers in check.

I'm not confident about this game. Normally when our defense is familiar with an offense or its style we do well. Normally when a coach faces his former team he knows all the right buttons to push. These are huge advantages. Plus the Packers haven't faced us with Lazor yet and he is implementing new packages every week. So all those things would seem to point to a great situation for the Dolphins.

But, Rodgers has consistently shown an unequaled ability to get the pass out and be pinpoint accurate despite a crazy rush. His receivers are among the best in the business and I just can't see our defense stopping that passing attack.

I'm with hoops on this one .... I'm expecting a shootout. Depending on our nascent offense to win a shootout doesn't sound promising to me.

One of our units needs to be dominant, otherwise we lose.
