I for one would not say he played great last night, far from it but he did play like a rookie under fire and showed he has a lot of motivation. Still, he was thrown around on some plays and the saddest thing to see was how the piss poor non caring play of one Vernon Carey and Columbos inability or simply not knowing the system yet, affected the play of our center. Tony really nailed it on the head when he said he did not prepare the team for Atlanta or anyone else.

um, i think our RBs were getting tackled in the back field JUST LIKE LAST YEAR...New young running back hasnt lost a step (like everyone said ricky and ronnie did) already has he?
i think the oline coach must suck bad...
Unfortunately our new young RB never had the step to begin with. People complain that Ronnie B was a bust.. wait till they get a load of this DT waste.

Like I said, it only takes one player to miss a block or get beat on a play for the play to get blown up. How many times did pouncy's man get in the backfield to make a tackle?? Not once that I saw. So like I said pounce played well, can't say the same for the others
The OL has played together for about 5 practices.......this will take time.....Columbo just got here, Cary moved inside, Incognito changed sides, a rookie in the middle and Jake is not on the field.....relax....the OL an running game will be good I can see it...The RB make guys miss, they are quick and run inside or outside and they have speed.....Once Long returns the OL will be better than last yr along with WR and RB
