Every time I come on here now it seems there is another Matt Roth thread stating that he is not very good.....getting very few snaps, might be a bust, etc.

Can we put an end to this please?

He is earning more playing time if you've been lucky enough to watch all the games so far. Besides that, he is playing behind what I consider to be one of the best D-lines in the league.

He is a rookie people. He will get better with time. And though he may never turn out to be great I think we should give him some time. Rookies normally reach their potential within 3 yrs. I think we should give this entire years draft class at least 1 - 2 seasons before we start declaring someone a bust (or an all-pro for that matter).

sorry buddy didn't mean to step on toes. All I was trying to say was that I think we should give all of our rookies at least until the end of the season before we pass official judgment.

To start a thread about a rookie being a bust is redundently annoying and illogical.

especially a rookie who plays behind JT and kevin carter, 2 hall of fame calibre defensive ends... yet you want roth to play more time then them??? some people are too impatient... i already feel sorry for any developmental QB we eventually get...
