At least for a week.

Tampa blew Atlanta out yesterday proving that losing to that Tampa team wasn't such a damning loss, not to mention we should've won despite the circus our locker room had become over that week.

We have a tough game we very well could lose next week against Carolina, but to me that doesn't matter as much. The key is our final 5 game stretch.

2 NYJ games, NE at home, Buffalo, and a suddenly dangerous Pittsburgh team.

4-1 in those 5 games would all but guarentee us a 6 seed.

I think we can do it.

I for one am hopeful that our team is set to come together at the right time. Remember the past 3 super bowl champs finished between 10-6 and 9-7.

Why not us?

I don't want to hear any negative, XXXX needs to be fired or cut talk until we're officially out of the playoff race, right now we control our own destiny.

If you live in Miami get out there on Sunday's and get behind this team.

Our guys have been dragged through the mud for no good reason.

ITS US AGAINST THE WORLD!

I'm with you bro! We have as much chance as anyone.

The thread is not negative enough to get any traction on this board though.

You guys are slowly changing my tune .... We're going to get on a roll here! After Carolina ...

Atlanta stinks, and we played horrible against a crappy 0-8 Tampa team. case closed.

i think we can beat carolina...dont understand why everyone thinks otherwise, the line currently is panthers 3 and a half point favorites
we are not HUGE underdogs

also i would like to point out carolina is 28th in passing yards per game
they rely heavily on their defense, but i am in no way afraid of cam newton he has 8 interceptions,we gotta load up the box and force him to throw do not let them run
hes thrown 3 picks and 1 td in his last 2 games and has an abysmal qb rating in those games, they won because of the defense but i think this is a game where wallace n tannehill must have some chemistry on that long ball
also looking at their schedule alot of their wins came against crummy teams
vikings,bucs,rams,falcons,

they lost to buffalo on the road, they only scored 6 points vs the cardinals
so they are not a LOCK to win

This is the same Atlanta team that New Orleans barely beat in Week 1, and the same Tampa team that almost knocked off the almighty Seahawks two weeks ago, right?

I'd say the jury's still out.

I would love for us to win out. It would be a great feeling and its my hope. But TB beating Atlanta isn't much. Atlanta really stinks bad this year. However the fact that we should have beat TB and we did beat SD shows the team is still competing. I will get excited if we can string together at least 3 wins. Until that happens we are nothing better than 500.

As a team ... right now they're playing very well.

Minnesota W 35-10
St. Louis W 30-15
Tampa Bay W 31-13
Atlanta W 34-10
San Francisco W 10-9

We are a team that can beat Carolina. Grimes on Smith will be huge. Getting Jordan on a pass rush/TE coverage like last night will be big too. If out D can hold a good O like San Diego to 16 we have a very legit shot to win against Carolina. We just cannot let their D create turnovers or score. To me, Tanne distributing the ball like last night plus a rush game that is respectable will put our O in a chance to win it.

Get that momentum rolling, get the circus behind us, and we can close the season strong. Thatd say a lot about the toughness and future of this young team.
