We have a new HC that brought a new philosophy and system on both sides of the ball. He is taking over a roster that was built for ground and pound, he had limited cap space preventing major overhauls in free agency and a handful of draft picks. Add to it no clear cut starting QB and what appears to be a move to the future by going with Tannehill, which IMO is the right move.

Reality is we are a 6 win team give or take a win in either column. That is the reality we are being rebuilt let's just hope they finally get it right.

Finger pointing and blame placing aside this team lacks talent and speed. This roster is so big and cumbersome it is like trying to qualify for the Indy 500 using a NASCAR.

Do you mean "perspective?"

You talk as if the HC is the one who picked these players in the offseason. He didn't. That's not his job. So I don't blame him...I blame Ireland.

However, he did have some input I'm sure, and so far the picks this year have been crap.

But this "great draft" this year is reallly looking like this...
Egnew....why the **** did we pick him?
Cunningham....just cut him now.
Kaddu....cut him too.
Vernon....he will take time, obviously, if he ever amounts to anything...don't expect him to see the field much this year...unless they just want to get him reps because we suck so bad
Martin...what a fail this guy is so far. He needs a couple of serious years of weight training.
Miller...has potential....but we can't tell, because apparently Sherman doesn't run the ball

And Tannehilll....shown flashes...but what he has shown so far isn't starting NFL material at all yet...

Absolutely NOT.....unless you want Tannehill to become David Carr 2.0

And by the way.....it's perspective (not prospective)

Phinatic can you edit that title I didn't catch the swype text on my phone?

Dr. Phin I am pretty sure I said without pointing a finger.

Let me get this straight... a member says we'll be a 6 win team, and some of you still jump on him because he's not being negative enough? WTF.

Well said. I'm disappointed with all of our draft picks. Just give me a cheerleader and I'll run with that for the season.

The fact of the matter is Ireland has built a team that seriously lacks talent on both sides of the ball. You expect a rookie QB in Ryan Tannehill to succeed with Legedu Naanee as the staring book end WR? Are you serious? Yea its only the second preseason game but there are holes all over this team and u can see it on the field, this is going to be a long season folks.

What if he becomes Peyton Manning 2.0, or John Elway 2.0...or Troy Aikman 2.0? As long as Tannehill can handle it, is not lost, and is even close in competition with the vets...starting Tannehill is the right thing to do.
