Be careful what you wish for Dolphins fans! With Pennington going down for the season this should answer all kinds of question for this franchise moving forward!

1) Chad Henne – real deal or real bust? No more speculation, no more whining about starting Henne it is his shoulder the season rests on now
2) Ted Ginn – real number 1 or average|? No more whining about a week armed QB who can not hit the long ball. Henne is supposed to have a cannon so let’s see what the kid Ginn is made of, paper mache or Kevlar?
3) That offensive line better gel fast! Are the line upgrades panning out, we will see soon. Every Defensive Coordinator is going to blitz the hell out of a rookie QB the rest of the year. Let’s see if the line is up to the task.
4) Coaching staff – is this staff the next great thing or will they lose the team after a 0-3 start and the starting QB is down and out. A real staff wouldn’t are they real or are they just like the last three!
5) Heart and Soul – we as fans are going to see what this core of players are made of through and through. Was the team pretending last year or will they salvage a season to build on going forward? Will the older vets keep toughing it out and scrape some wins together the D better step it up or the Dolphins could very well be 0-6 soon.

Be careful what you wish for Fin Fans but I for one am excited about the rest of this year. Check back in week 12 or 14 and I might not be so enthusiastic if Henne looks like **** and the D is getting torched and the line is giving up sacks but I am one Dolphins fan that will take the good out of the bad and use this time to watch and evaluate my team. We all knew Pennington wasn’t the long term solution now we need to hold our breath and see if the answer is on the team or yet to be found!

And I wish Penny a quick recovery, he is a class act all around and always will be. I would have rather this played out via competition and not injury.

How did you miss the massive improvement in our offensive line? They are playing very good.

I know they are playing better. It will be differnt the next few weeks thou. Teams will stack the box and dare Henne to throw. It will be more pressure on the line. I for one think they will handle it fine and I am not worried about the line play.

Teams have been playing close to the line of scrimmage on defense. Many times they have been eight in the box. I expect that the Bills will make Henne beat them, but I think we will run the ball reasonably well versus the Bills.

I think Henne will suprise us all this Sunday and torch the Jills secondary. Quick slants and deep posts are whats going to do it.

Remember that we have played crappy run defenses in the first 3 weeks. San Diego was without big people and a pro bowl NT.. Atlanta is not good against the run, never were.

And the Colts have one of the most undersized defensive fronts in the league. Plus they were playing their safety way back when Ronnie was in the wildcat. Which wasn't a smart game plan on Indy's part... That made it easy for us to gain yardage on the ground.

Let's see how the running game works against Rex Ryan and the Jets. That will be the true test. And the Bills have a better run defense than the 3 teams we faced.

My point exactly Greyboy good post. We are going to see what this team is made of now. Teams will stack the box so Henne will have to preform to back them off. This team will either fold into nothing this year or become tough as nails. You mark my words there will not be an in between.

Nobody has run well on the Jets just like no one has run well against us. Quick passes with good line protection calls will make all the difference to helping Henne succeed against the Jets.

But let's not get all stupid and expect Henne to have alot of success against the Jets, they did make T.Brady look fairly average and he has all the tools to beat the Jets but still lost.
