Hi me and a couple friends are going to our first game this year (vs Bears dont ask why) and i have a very cheap friend who wants the cheapest tickets. Right now the cheapest half field nose bleed tickets i see go for $67. He thinks if we wait it might become cheaper because both teams suck. My question is, Do half fieldish nose bleed tickets ever get cheaper than $67? buying online there are fees so we will end up paying like $85/$90

thanks for the help

A lot of factors who knows both teams could end up good and drive the price up. My opinion man it's your first game ****in go big!

Closer to the field the better, I say. So what if you're at the 10 or in the endzone. I'd hang tight and see how the teams are doing. Scalper tickets are always a game day option too.

Do not do that for your first game. Sadly, if you can't afford to drop $100 for the day (tickets, food, drinks..etc) then it's just not something you should do.

To answer your question though...yes you can possibly get them cheaper. I've sat halfway up the upper deck and had a great game day experience and the tickets were $45. If the team has been playing good the fist few games and is winning the prices are going to sky rocket. If their doing bad they will drop. You do NOT need to sit on the side to have a great viewing experience. The endzone ends of the stadium are great seats as well.

Just get there 2 hours early so you can go by the FH tailgate and then experience all the events and things going on outside the stadium. Soak it all in if it's your fist time ever going.

Years ago my wife and I would never buy tickets in advance. We would take the cloverleaf shuttle to the Orange Bowl each game day and find two seats from scalpers.
We kept a stadium layout so we could make sure we got decent seats.
One Sunday we could not find a scalper anywhere. So, we just decided to go to the window and buy two seats.
There was a man and woman standing there and when they saw us deciding on tickets, they offered us two very good seats right next to them at season ticket cost. Face value.
We were skeptical, but the attendant verified the seats were near the 50 yard line up about 10-15 rows.
After they got to know us that day, they told us they had tickets for the remaining season and we could buy them.
It turns out the seats belonged to a friend of theirs that had to cancel out on the season. We got very lucky that season and had a great time watching Danny carve up several good teams.

Why even go to the game if you think both teams suck? Seems like a waste of time and money. If you are just going for the game day experience, tailgate and then pick up some tickets from scalpers at the last minute.

That story brought a smile to my face.

When I used to go to concerts I used to go all out and get the best seats I could get. Of course we're talking Ozzy so you go all out!!

I would say there is an 80% chance that those tickets will be cheaper by the time the game rolls around.

Those nosebleed seats went down to $19 against the Titans last year, 48 hours before kickoff.

Now if the teams are 5-0 heading into it, then those prices can go up.
