Ok Had To Do It (qb Bashers) Must Read
SO SICK AND TIRED of "FANS" bashing and not backing our qb so here ya go someone please tell me what makes our QB so terrible that we should be calling for a 3rd stringer or a change. This is all starting qb's stats from yesterday.......

I hear ya. We had fiedler for 5 years as a starter. Like our QB's are worse than Jay was. Joey could pass for 400 yards, throw 3 TD's and 1 Pick and people would destroy him for throwing one pick bgut would say nothing about the yards and td's.

Joey is doing a fine job...Good Job Joey

Joey is doing a good job. If he would create positive yardage a little more by running and scrambling rather than just throwing the ball away so often he'd be doing a great job.

doesnt even rank among the top 30 in the NFL

Are you talking to me? because what you describe to me arent fans. As i posted earlier today.. I am a fan of the TEAM.. first and foremost...not individual players. Im happy with every win.. and feel every loss.
Arguing about the backup after a win where we couldn't run through paper towel is rediculous to me.

A perfect example of how stats can sometimes provide one with very little information. First, Minnesota may have an excellent run D, but they are very soft against the pass. Second, many of the QBs noted above played stellar games but their stats were not great (Rivers, Romo, Kitna, Smith). Joey played his best game of the season in my opinion, but he still left a lot to be desired.

Considering there was no run game he did pretty well. Also people rarely mention that Mularkey called like 62 passes in one of his games. Just ridiculous, nobody would be successful with that many attempts. Joey is no superstar, he is a good backup. Personally though, I'm happy we got him. We have someone competent to fall back on if Daunte is a dud.

Lets flip that around. If he threw for 230 yards 0 TD's and 2 int's. You supporters would still say he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and ignore the int's.
 
Some folks feel threatened that Harrington might take the starting job from Culpepper so continually bashing Harrington gives them some false sense of security that this will never happen.

These are the same people running around saying Culpepper is the QB of the future even though he played horribly in all 4 of his games here and Saban clearly stated he would not take Harrington off the field unless Daunte had definitevely proven he was capable of playing better.

Personally I want them both to do great because in the end we end up with the best man on the field whoever that may be only time will tell!

NO..I would say he had a bad game, lets get ready for next week. Not one time this entire season have I ever ripped either one of our QB's...So dont assume you know how I would react..You know what they say about assumptions

Daunte homers do the same thing. People just tend to pick the guy they like and go with it. Daunte will get the starting job next season, how could he not with what he cost? Personally I hope he does well b/c Joey is a bit inconsistant. That being said I'm really glad they picked him up b/c he was probably the best backup available.
