QB change

I'm actually surprised we haven't heard more about this situation yet. There was alot of controversy after the game, and Saban seemed like he didn't know yet. I'm curious who's getting more reps with the first team and how the decision making process is going.

If there will be I don't think Saban would acknowledge it to the media but I really do think that Saban will stick with Gus this Sunday against New Orleans. I do feel Sage will get his chance this year, but I don't think he will yet... I really do believe Saban will start Gus this Sunday, we will beat New Orleans, and Gus will not get benched during the game.

That is possible. New Orleans is a good team to let Gus try and regain some momentum. It also is a good team to let Sage make a start against too though and build some momentum.

I think Gus is going to remain the QB. Saban defended him saying it wasn't all his fault. Though I wouldn't be suprised to see him start and get yanked before halftime.

If Gus starts and dosn't look well early I wouldn't be suprised if Saban pulled him for Sage. I think Gus starts this week though.

If there is, we won't fine out until Sunday. I wouldn't expect for Frerotte to be benched because I remember Saban saying something that he will Likely keep Frerotte as the starter for the whole season. I guess so that it wouldn't screw up the chemistery.

but why would Saban START Cleo Lemon? he has him set at Third String, if he doesn't start Frerotte, he'll start Rosenfels, just due to he has more trust set in Sage

I never said start Lemon, but I think this would be the year to test out Lemon, in case he really is some big secret, who knows maybe he needs a real W to get him motivated to play his best..
I'm just anti-Gus I'd rather see Bubby Brister come out of retirement and start as QB :rofl3: (Not really)

well remember hurricane wilma put a hamper on things, they didn't start work till today so its probably still up in the air, might hear more about any changes tomorrow and thursday

I see, but didn't Saban want Lemon? I read somewhere that Saban was trying hard to get him from the Chargers

i agree there, well of course its nublar im talking about;), but i do think if gus does a bad job or if we are loosing he might very well be taken out to put in sage
