QB David Garrad discusses Dolphins new offense and the need for speed

With the speed and the heat, we should wear some teams out at home in the beginning of the year. We need to take advantage of that.

The coaching staff better stress conditioning really hard if they are gonna go that route.

Great interview with David. I think sitting last year renewed his spirit and he may surprise in camp.
He owns a boat called "hail Mary" and loves to fish. My kind of guy.

That's the problem we had historically in the past when #13 was tossing it around.

Valid point. If we have two three and outs in a row, our d is ****ed.

Then our defense has to go three and out also. Makes it even and no difference. The defense has as much control of the game as the offense. Its not a do or die on either side of the ball.

Agree with everyone above. As long as the chains keep moving its all good, but if the D is out there all the time we are ****ed. Double edged sword.

I think you have to have an up-tempo passing game to win the NFL these days. I remember the game we played against the Indianapolis Colts a few years back, when we had possession of the ball for over 45 minutes and still lost because Peyton Manning wasted no time in picking our D apart and scoring quickly. At least Philbin's offense shouldn't put us to sleep by the end of the third quarter.

i'm hoping our offense ends up looking like the Pats hurry up O. Quick hits on short routes using the slot , RB's and TE"s
Lots of no huddle "check with me" stuff and running just enough to set up play action for a few long strikes. The WCO also has lots of roll outs and draws which plays into Tannehill's strengths.

The points about the D having to keep up are valid. Hope Dansby doesn't pull that 20 lbs overwieght BS.
Here's the good news on D. We are getting younger having lost Jason and Bell. Hopefully the kids can keep up.
