He also pretty much said that the team was not going to over spend for a QB that is not worth it and that they were content with DC's progress.

Not saying it isn't the truth, but just because Saban says so doesn't make it so.

Saban reiterated: Did not make decision in a vacuum. All factors were thought of, not one guy against the other, chose the guy they thought was the best for their franchise and that's why they did what they did
