Yea that same awesome QB machine that pumped out such legends as Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox.



As for my pick, Manning, Culpepper, McNabb, Carr.

Did someone seriously say Harrington? This guy needs a good season this year just to stick around with the Lions. He's looking like more of a bust every year.

definitly agree with you on this one. anyways, how much can a QB be a product of the system in the NFL with these defenses?

McMahon? Can't beat a ****ty Harrington out with a great QB coach in charge.
Kitna, one good year in Cincy dosn't outweigh his many many horrible ones.
Brees, looked like a bust until this year, with choice of any other QB why bank it on him, who needs to show it wasn't a fluke?

But Ben sucks? He's had one year to show what he can do and it was a very solid showing. He was rookie of the year? I'm from a Browns family and the Cleveland area, and I hate Pittsburgh as much as I hate the Bills or Jets, but to say Ben sucks after only having a ROY season following a heralded college career and being an 11th overall pick is just ridiculous.
 
Spergon Wynn, that would show us if Saban and Linehan are really geniouses.
 
Brady are you guys joking?

He is part of a system that he runs well but man the guy has all day to throw.

When Brady doesnt have time he looks worse than AJ Feeley! IE Fish vs NE how did we win? We got pressure and Brady looked like an idiot.

Give any QB in the league a minute to throw the ball and they will succeed. Give them under three seconds and they will suck regardless of there skill!

How often does Brady need to buy time for himself? Not often but when he does he sucks. I know he is a multiple SB champ, he is smart and a good QB but more of a product of the system rather than a skilled QB.

Brady is no where near Marino,Montana,Elway, or Peyton! NE is a good team with a compitent QB.
 
personally, of the young QBs( less that 4 years acrued) right now I like David Carr. He can throw is deep and runs very well..I believe he was 2nd in QB rushing yrds last year. In addition to his skill set he also is a huge competitor and a family guy...he's simply a quality guy.

Now the other guy I would be interested in is Ron Mexico....eh, I mean Vick. I don't know if he'll ever be a great passer but he'll be good enough for this offense and he's the most exciting player to watch since Barry Sanders laced them up. Besides, his ability to lie to women would help him to fit right in over in South Beach. :)
 
ehy is everyone bashing harrington....i hate when peopel dio that because they dont see the whole picture

year 1....absoultely NO weapons around him
year 2...Rogers plays 6 games before injury, no running game
year 3...KJ hurt beginning half-10 weeks of season,rogers gona again, Williams gets injured and recievers stat dropping passes

his stats last year were good...look at them, they werent GREAT or eye popping but they were good

Did you see him play? I didn't get too see many fin's game last year unless I was home or they were on national TV so I was forced to watch Detroit/Cleveland games by my friends all year. I always liked him the previous years when I didn't see him play much, but after last year I don't care for him. He looks confused all the time, and threw some bad balls that Williams somehow came up with. He might suprise in a Brees like fashion, but I wouldn't put money on it.
 
yea i did watch a few games...but people are talking like he is a 10 year vet...he is going into his 4th years with a what? second year(or is it 3rd) coach with alot of YOUNG players...i do understand this year could be his last in Detroit :(

He had weapons last year and struggled. I honestly feel he has a hard time reading defenses.

As you wrote in your other post...this could very well be his last year in Det. He now has 3 1st round wrs and a 1st round rb and an above average o-line. He's go NO excuses. How worried are the Lions...they brought in Garcia to challenge him...truly chanllenge him. That's scary...scary like our situation:( Feely has also got to prove he belongs or he's gone after this season.
