QB Dreamin?

He had weapons last year and struggled. I honestly feel he has a hard time reading defenses.

As you wrote in your other post...this could very well be his last year in Det. He now has 3 1st round wrs and a 1st round rb and an above average o-line. He's go NO excuses. How worried are the Lions...they brought in Garcia to challenge him...truly chanllenge him. That's scary...scary like our situation:( Feely has also got to prove he belongs or he's gone after this season.

actually, they broght Garcia in to teach him Mariucci's game plan.....yes he had weapons last year, but like I said they were injured...Iwil ltake him on the Phins anyday of the week

4 striagh Super Bowl wins is what we gave up a second rounder for...not to mention 2 former first round picks

QB is a position of courage and intelligence, some how i think Big Ben was lucky to fit in Pitt's system, no other system should become into awsome numbers for any rookie.
Obviously he's an excellent QB and this year he'll become normal in many ways, so it won't be the same for him.

Mannings rule.
Peyton skills are superior to anyone in today's NFL, and surely Linehan is praying AJ to have half of those skills. Eli will become something like Peyton in 2-3 years, so the real question is :
In my dreams, Who i want to become THIS season QB? Peyton Manning
Or
In my dreams, Who i want to be NEXT 5-10 seasons QB? Eli Manning

You pick 2 backups who are barely hanging on in the league practically and then bash Big Ben

Jake Delhome and Brett Favre were all backups at one point and look where they are now...

I believe that if given the chance Kitna and McMahon can bloom into starters, I also belive they were cheated out of a chance by their teams due to drafting a QB...Harrington is done this year if he doesn't step it up and you can;t honestly tell me Carson Palmer has played better than Kitna....

As for Brees you know how that goes.

And Rottenburger was a 1 yr fluke....

Peyton Manning or Daunte Culpeper here.
I like Culpepper too. Maybe the humidity could help him hang onto the darn ball better! Really though, I hate to say that Brady would be my choice. Good arm, good decisions, great leader. That's all we need.

So you could have any QB in the league you'd take McMahon or Kitna, you have to be kidding me. And Id say Favre and Delhomme are the exception, not the rule.

Feeley!!1

But if I must play this game.

Out of the young guns now in the league I would take Harrington or Big Ben

Vets I would take Manning or McNabb.

By the way. Alot of you complain about QB'S who are the product of the system.

If there are 2 guys who have proven to not be a product of the system it is Favre, Manning and McNabb. Ok maybe 3 lol:roflmao:
