QB Matt Moore, named 2011 MVP, excited for changes to Dolphins' offense

If Moore improves at all from last year, we have a helluva QB. I dont care what QB starts....just please have an amazing year.

Agree Reggie Bush should have got the award not Matt but Moore played well in tough positions so I do think he gets first shot at starter.
Now if D G or Tannehill blow it up in camp and the pre season so be it. I'd still sign Matt and kept him as a relief pitcher so to speak.
 
I think I just like any new QB in a dolphins uni, gosh i remember i was rallying for thigpen for weeks ugh.
 
I'd be more thrilled with a possible win/win senerio (matt moore winning games and having a brees/rivers situation) if we had him locked up for more than one year.
 
its amazing how stupid people are. matt moore? really? he didn't beat any good teams and some of those wins he didnt need to do anything. The defense destroyed the bills and we ran ALL over the raiders. he didnt break 300 yards once in fact in his whole career i think he threw for 308 one time in CAR. he's inaccurate and inconsistent. Nobody is offering us a trade for matt moore because everyone knows he sucks. sorry homers/henne haters but we drafted a qb at 8 for a reason, moore is garbage.

When you grow up you will realize that personal stats do not win football games. It is not about the yards, it is about what you do per attempt. The Dolphins were 28th in the NFL in amount of passing attempts and you expected more 300 yard games? We averaged less then 3 passes more then the Broncos did per game.

)We have a perfect 50/50 split, 29.3 run attempts per game and 29.3 passing attempts per game)

So then you thought Henne outplayed Moore last year?
 
This season is where Moore determines if he is another Brees... or... not. If he has a breakout year as FULL-TIME starter, the sky is the limit for him. He's young enough to get LOTS of trade attention. He will define his NFL career by what he does in '12.

Tannehill is likely to be our Rivers. If Moore is a STRONG starter, and Tannehill is AS GOOD AS Moore if not better, we, folks are sitting in the catbird seat.

garrard is washed up and a waste of cap space. I wish we had another young developmental QB (Devlin? or a UDFA)

How many teams do you think call the Giants and ask to trade for Eli Manning? Or any other starting QB in the NFL. Most GMs would consider it a crank call.

Winning how? He went 6-6 and the team went 6-10. Chad Pennington was the last winning QB we had.

I consider him a winner. He is the best QB that we have had since Pennington and can do more then he can.

He was 6-6 but I give him a bye in his first 3 games. He had almost zero practice reps nd only joined the team right before the season, a season with little early practice and we had a new offense. It took several weeks before Daboll seemed to know what his plan was.

In his first game against the Jets it was "Brandon Marshall Monster Week". He was forced to force the ball to BM (bowel movement) and we lost because of it.

In his 2nd game we were Tebowed.

In his 3rd we lost 20-17 to the winners of the Super Bowl.

After that he went 6-3.

Some Henne Heinie Humpers just never quit. Too ****ing funny: you're comparing Henne to Drew Brees, claiming a QB who lost his last 6-7 straight season games is better than one who won 6 out of his last 9....but are calling OTHER posters "stupid"

that's true, but on the other hand he went 6 and 6 for a team that went 6-10. Does having the same record make Cam Newton a loser too?

I was moreso just commenting on the fact that people keep acting like the first games didn't count and we went 6-3 for the season.
