As most people will agree, Harrington is not the future. He is a Gus Frerrote, a Jay Fiedler. My question for yall is what options do the Phins have for next year. I dont like to look ahead, but I was thinking of the options....Garrard?......Leftwich?......Draft a QB?....

I hear there's a pretty good QB we can acquire out of Miami named Daunte Culpepper. He won't cost hardly anything in terms of draft compensation, and he's got more physical talent than just about any QB in the league. I also heard he's got the best accuracy percentage of any quarterback, ever. So, that's something.

Saban blew a 2nd on Pep, since Saban will be here next year then I wouldn't worry about who the QB will be

we have many other needs to fill

Assuming C-Pep can return to 100% health, I'm happy with going into next season with the same batch of QBs we have now. I still expect Harrington to improve as he gets experience playing in our offense and develops chemistry with the receivers and kinda think he does have the talent to be an NFL starter. At the very worst, I'd say he makes a top-flight backup.

Alex and CK, you guys are awesome haha! I was thinking about chiming in with my smart *** comment but you guys took care of it.

I hear we have this guy named Daunte Culpepper...

..Sorry, I had to.

Wow, im pretty sure we're going to give Saban more than 2 years to turn this ship around. Jeez.

No doubt about that. Saban will be here for several years as will Daunte.

Interesting. Hopefully this uber talent won't play like crap again next year
when he's healthy.

Ummm.... Culpepper is DONE!!! Saban needs to accept the fact that he made a huge blunder by trading a 2nd round pick for that washed-up, over-hyped 'Has-Been'!!! :fire:

Not saying Harrington is the answer but he's serviceable for now. We need to ship/trade Culpepper's over-priced a** out of Miami and look to draft a QB within the 1st 3 rounds next season!!!

GO 'FINS!!

You're entitled to your opinion. However, I for one am interested in seeing what a completely healthy CP can do. There are no garauntees when it comes to Qbs. Even if we draft a qb it's a crap shoot. Would we really be better off if we would have drafted Alex Smith. When exactly have we been in a draft position that would have netted us a franchise qb ? We could have drafted Brees a long time ago, but who else ?
