If you are trying to do it yourself, it is pretty hard. This link explains the process:

If you are trying to find out what QB rating a certain QB, just enter his #'s in the boxes in this link:

The link above is nice because you can compare two QBs at the same time.

Its not as complicated as i thought it was. still interesting stuff
