Leak may end up being a great pro. He has a quick release, quick feet, and a big arm. He has the talent, it is a case of who picks him up. I like your idea.

I also think that Feeley and Frerotte are just here until Nick Saban decides on his own QB. I never felt we should have used a 2nd round pick for Feeley....Feeley seems like a nice guy and he is reasonable competant but I dont see AJ as our future QB or the guy to get us to a SB. I think Leinart or Omar Jacobs would be a nice improvement.....I also think Philip Rivers would be an improvement if we are going to go with a guy already in the NFL....but either way it is gonna take around 2-3 years for this guy to know Saban's system. Gus is 36 so he is likely only here for 2-3 years tops....Keep AJ as a backup if need be or a 3rd teamer....I dont see Sage being here a lot longer either. Hopefully we will focus on a QB next year. God I miss Dan Marino!!!:shakeno:
