What matters more for a qb his wining % or his stats.

If you think wining % then why not draft a Marcus Vick. Look what his brother does for Atlanta. The scrambling type of qb wins games if you plan it right. ATL has a 750 wining % when he plays and a much lower wining % when he doesn’t. I’m not saying I would like drafting Marcus Vick but in reality why not if he can win us the most games with his feet?

p.s. he can throw the ball better than his brother to.

If that was the case then Fiedler was an excellent QB. His winning percentage was one of the top 4 in the league. Neither is important. Both are merely statistics and can be misleading. Vick is a glorified Running back and will have a short life in the NFL. We already have two great runners. We need an actual quaterback. Someone who can read defenses, make smart decisions, call audibles and make accurate throws.

Last weeks win for example, was handed to them by the jets. Vick did less than Frerotte.

We would be 4-2 or 3-3 with Fiedler. PLUS compairing Fiedler to Vick isnt close.

If that's the only criteria we should trade SF

for Dorsey. Afterall he was 38-2 in college.

What matters is we haven't seen a real talented Quarterback on this team since Marino left. These coaches claim to know talent? I am starting to question the decisions of the higher ups. I will give them the benefit of the doubt, but damn get somethings right...

Feidler had a winning record, but proved useless in clutch situations (December and in playoffs ) Feeley was garbage, Frerotte is proving he belongs in the CFL.

I really hope Cleo or Sage prove themselves or else we need a top drafted QB.

i'm not talking college wining %. i'm talking nfl wining % thats all that matters. get wins! and if thats the qb thats going to get you wins draft him. Mike Vick wins games. if he came to Miami we would make the playoffs this year.

personally i'd rather see us win w/ a young pocket passer but at this point i want to see the playoffs again.

I honestly think Vick's leadership and field presence are the only things helping them win games. With the exception of that, Warrick Dunn is who wins games in Atlanta, and the defense. I don't think Vick would be able to come even close to replicating that success if he was to come here today. I think he's one of the bottom tier QB's in this league. Atlanta is the only fit for him.

I agree that Vick isnt a premier QB like he's hyped out to be. BUT his presence alone is what makes him a star. With just one snap of the ball, Vick can turn what would normally be a loss or dead play into a 65 yard spinning sprint for a TD. The guy has a talent and a strong arm. His accuracy is flat out horrible though. However, with Atlanta's running game which if you all dont know is better than Pittsburgh's, Vick is able to do what he does. Atlanta seems to be the only legit NFC team out there because the Eagles are struggling week in and week out. SD definitely should have won that game last week. The chargers are the best 3-4 team the NFL has ever seen.

You all are just scared of the truth.

The truth is Marcus Vick like Michael Vick will never win the big game,,,,guys running around rather than staying in the pocket rarely win. There has never been a QB who has rushed for more than 350 yards in a season winning a Superbowl. Ron Mexico is all flash and little substance. I'll pass on him.
Leinart and Vince Young are much better prospects.

but vince young is also a running qb:goof:

VICK'S are GARBAGE.

You can realize it or not but, Mike Vick is one of the worst starting QB's in the league. I would take him right now for us but, he is still trash. I guarentee the front office of the Falcons wish they hadn't given him all that money. If they didnt they could start Schaub who is the real deal at QB. Not because he shredded a weak Pats D, but because he has always played well when he was in. And he completes more than half his passes. Give me a QB who can make a pass rusher miss and reset his feet to complete a 30yd pass over a guy who scrambles whenever he sees pressure and when he dosen't only completes 45% of his passes anyday. Vick wins because he plays on a very good football team. He makes them not as good as they can be. Fiedler won a lot of games too ya know. I hope you arent suggesting he is good. With a great QB we win a couple of Super Bowls those seasons.
