Can ya blame him?

He would never get playing time with Tebow there and is pretty talented and doesnt want to be a backup.

Texas would've been a better team if Snead started all year IMO.

I never liked Snead. McCoy is the real deal and Texas have 5 star John Brantley coming in as well as 5 star athlete John Chiles who says he wants to play QB.

I'm not so sure about that. They were allegedly close in camp, but Colt beat him out, and then struggled early on, and he already had a years experience with the offense. I highly doubt that if a true freshamn (Snead) learned the offense BETTER in one off season than the redshirt freshman (McCoy) did in a year plus an offseason that Colt would have still beat him out. I don't think Snead would have done any better agains OSU, and when he came in against Kansas State it took him an entire half to get into a groove and mount a comeback, which by then was too late (:fire:), then when he came in against A&M he tossed a pick on an ill-advised throw on what could have been the game-winning drive.

update: UT are denying that Snead is transferring. Just heard it on the radio...said he's not going anywhere

Yea, I didn't read the posted article, but the day before I read on ESPN that there were reports but both the school and Snead were denying them. I saw someone posted about him transferring to TCU though, which the article on ESPN didn't mention, so I figured maybe it had become official and that was the school he chose. Oh well, if he stays, fine, if not, it's fine too, I don't think he's beating out Colt McCoy anytime soon after the way this season has gone for Colt (save for the injury and poor A&M game)
