QB trade possible?

Wow.....you guys are really jumping the gun right now. 1st off, it's one game. I know you guys are used to winning but w/all the new players, coaches, schemes, etc it's going to take a little time to gell (especially the QB posistion).

Unless you want to make another premature bonehead trade like Wanny has in the past, give your guys some time.

Plus, the QB position is almost always set (players) before the 1st preseason game just maybe not a decisive starter named. I can't recall in the 25+ years I've been watching the NFL that a team started searching for a starter QB (besides injury) after the pre-season has started.

I would love to but who is out there? The only guy I see is Rivers and the bolts don't need Ricky WIlliams. THey might take Jason Taylor for Rivers and maybe throw in a cornerback too!

No, this season we will have a run game at least.

It will be 3-5 years before we have a franchise QB (knock on wood). Some of you Berlin doubters should tone it down. All legends have to start somewhere. He may not be the brightest bulb, but who knows?

why the hell would u mention J.T. hes a phin and will be till he retires and even after that he is one of the best players on the team...why not trade for Adrian McPherson from the saints

Berlin has looked solid in the preseason even though it is against 3rd teamers. I say we start him in the next preseason game. Feeley and Frerotte stink. It is not looking good. I had very high hopes this season, but it looks like we are at square one at qb and the o-line has not improved at all. The only thing any better than last season is Ricky being back and more depth at receiver. No need to trade for a qb. There isn't anyone out there for us to trade for that will benefit us in the future. No one wants Feeley or Frerotte. We couldn't get anyone for Feeley and Frerotte so what does that tell you about our qb situation. We should have kept Fiedler?? The first four games without Ricky could be ugly. Lamar Gordon does not have it. Ronnie Brown???? who knows and when?? Spielman was an idiot giving our 2nd round pick for Feeley. We have two o.k. back up qbs competing for a starting job! THAT IS JUST GREAT!!!

Bad trade.

I disagree. I disagree big time. Taylor is in the last year or two of his "prime" and Rivers could be our starting Quarterback for the next 12-15 years. That would be a wonderful trade and you are wrong.
