QB trade Tua for Stafford?

If Stafford wants to play for a couple more years then I would make the trade straight up. Tua is probably going to be the Dolphins QB for 2 more years and I think Stafford would give us a better chance to win.

Tuanon will only allow everyone else on the team to be discussed in trade talks and/or be moved on from including a HOF WR and DB. Any talk of anyone other than Tua being the QB of this team for the next 2 decades shall NOT be discussed on this forum!! Next question! 😤

Given Tua's huge contract, just exactly why would the Rams be interested in this? For that matter, why would Stafford? He needs solid, effective Oline play to be successful moreso than Tua, or most QBs.

There's very little difference between Stafford and a statue in the pocket at this point in his career.
If Tua is as good as everyone on this site says then why wouldn’t they want to take his contract on?!?

Was just watching a segment on Espn.com that Stafford may not play for the Rams in 2025 as his contract is up.
Matthew Stafford's contract with the Rams isn't up, he (and his agent) want to renegotiate it though. If he were to be traded, he would still insist on a new, more expensive salary from whichever team acquired his rights.

Given Stafford's lack of mobility at his age, he would need at least above-average pass protection to perform decently at QB.

Thats good news for us. He played some of his best football against us. I am not sure what their other QB options are. They're not going to find a better Free Agent QB and they aren't in a position to draft Ward or Sanders.

Wouldn't it be funny if he follows in Favre's footsteps and joins the Vikings who probably won't be re-signing Darnold with the way his season ended.

Was just watching a segment on Espn.com that Stafford may not play for the Rams in 2025 as his contract is up. I know he is 37 but could the Dolphins be in on Stafford? He could be a soft restet for us to move on from Tua and have a mentor for a rookie.

Not sure if this is even a possibility due to contracts and draft picks if any. But I think the systems the Rams and Phins run are similar. Could this be a reset for Tua in LA and for the Phins to buy stability to still compete while bringing on a rookie?

HAHAHA HAHAHA
Yeah that's not a plausible plan lol

As a co- leader of Tuanon, you are incorrect.

I am all for it. I am sure Tua would appreciate it also. It would be nice to see Tua on a team ran with competence.

Stafford would wonder why the Rams betrayed him however. Stafford can't even get to his 3 step drop in 2.1 seconds, so when thats all the line gives him???? Good luck bro

not chance this happens

The trade would actually be good for Tua. He would go to a better HC with a better OL. If they add another weapon then he might have just as good of weapons if not better.

I would take Stafford for 2 more years with Hill Waddle and Jonnu, if we can improve the OL.

I cannot imagine a scenario in which Tua is not Miami’s QB in 2025. It would require a trade to make it even remotely plausible, salary cap wise, and I just don’t see that happening.
