QBs Holding the Football

that would help because the other guys would have to lift the ball before they can throw it were beck can jus unload wen the guy is open and is anyone else havin prolems withte message board on here

Beck definitely has a quick release and a really effortless looking motion. Have the time it looks like it's just a wrist flick and he's bombing it 40 yards downfield

Up by the ear ready to fire! Jim Fassel used to scream at his QB's, "Get the ball up!".

Well a Qb should have the ball right where Beck has his. Hamden is the worst looking of the 3. Lemon needs it near the helmet more, and Beck is on the money.

this made me think of byron leftwiches throwing motion. he throws it more like a baseball winding his arm back and releasing it by his helmet, but hes got a rocket arm so its not a plague for him at all.

I saw a thing on NFL live last year where Jaworski broke down a bunch of tape saying that holding the ball high is something that a lot og QBs do in college but is a bad habit for the pros because it requires extra motion. I don't know a lot about Beck's throwing motion or if it is a problem. Many top QBs like Carson Palmers, Tom Brady, Donovan McNabb, and Drew Brees don't hold the ball very high. Peyton Manning holds it somewhat high but not as high as Beck is holding it. It might just be personal preference.

It is a bad habit and could lead to easier fumbles. Hopefully Cameron notes that and tries to fix it or hope that it doesn't affect Beck the way Rivers' funky motion doesn't.

Beck holds the ball the exact same spot Peyton Manning does
