Although recently signed veteran quarterback Josh McCown said he was told he would compete for the starting job with John Beck, the Dolphins still seem to be shopping for quarterbacks.

Wednesday, the Dolphins were one of 25 teams represented at the Pro Day of Kentucky quarterback Andre Woodson.

It's unclear whether they will be present today at Delaware's Pro Day, where Blue Hens quarterback Joe Flacco isn't scheduled to do much throwing, according to his agent, Joe Linta.

Its becoming more clear That our boy Chris Long is gonna be ours....happy, happy, happy

woodson flat out sucked at the senior bowl and has that disgusting release. i hope brian brohm falls to 32.

Didn't realize his last two years QB ratings were in the 140s.. and that he went 324 passes w/o an INT. Impressive. At 6'4'', 225, he's right in The Tuna's strike zone. Going 7-5 at Kentucky is bit reminiscent of Cutler at Vanderbilt. Wonder if he'd last as long as our 3rd round pick - might be a true "value pick" there, especially if Flaco and/or Henne are gone
.

Here's an interesting scouting report that projects him as a 3rd or 4th rounder

If anything I would say we are drafting Jake long since we have a total of 7 offensive lineman no starting tackle besides Carey and the fact that we have a bigger need for an offensive lineman now than DE/Linbacker unless we trade JT. Someone needs to protect our QBs otherwise our offense is going no where!!!

What about colt brennen..the dude from hawai... any chance the phins maybe take him in the 2nd or 3rd if he is still available...

Last time I checked he was pretty dam good..

I watched Woodson all last year and to answer the previous question, I thought he was taller than 6'4". More like 6'5" or 6'6". The guy has got a strong arm and some escapability in the pocket, but his problems are more mental than physical. He seems, at times, to lose his focus. A lot of balls sail on him. He also has to work on reading the defense. When his primary guy is not open he struggles to locate another option. He will force the ball often in these situations. His arm strength got him out of trouble alot of the time in college, but it wouldn't be wise for him to rely on that arm in the pros. He needs to educate himself on how to exploit the defense with his pre-snap reads. Woodson could turn into a very good Pro QB, but it is going to take some time.

You are forgetting Mr.Leaf.... but What About Mr. Eli Manning ? I am definitely not a Matt Ryan Homer, but you cannot fund your evaluation process by checking out history where the most busts we're made ... If Matt Ryan is overrated/overhyped/mis-evaluated like the afored mentioned players, don't worry, Ireland and Parcells already figured it out:up: we're no longer dummies at the FO, so look for the best player available for the longest period of time in a desperate position of need, a position not that deep in the draft (so that takes out Jake Long), lemme introduce to you Chris Long

that being said, back to woodson, I hope he falls to our 2nd pick and we can trade our pick for someone who needs him, he'll be a great trade bait in the 2nd... i just hope no one makes a "brown-for-quinn" move and snag him in bottom 1st

You just wrote that Parcells and Co. aren't dummies...so why would they select a DE with the top pick...and make him into a linebacker....I believe there's plenty of real linebackers in this draft.
