If body language and tone are determinant, Brock Osweiler won the Dolphins’ backup quarterback job Thursday and David Fales will soon need to find work.

Because Osweiler was as sunny as a Phoenix morning.

And Fales gave off the vibe that he knew he let a great opportunity slip through his fingers.

Now they both must wait to see if their intuition is right.

I’m good with Osweiler and if he gets hurt then I’m sure Fales will be available.

BO got the ball out of his hands very quickly and he seems comfortable running the offense. That o-line really played well last night. They pass protected and opened holes in the run game. I even got to see Asiata make some plays. This doesn't count but BO has made about 40 million playing QB, Fales, I'm guessing under 2 million. Last night was loud and clear. BO is the back up.

I would love a great back up, but......One good game does not negate his work in Denver, Houston, Cleveland, or this preseason. Fingers crossed.
On a good (good?) note I think LBer and CB are two greater needs.

Is Jeff George still trying to make a comeback? Just kidding. I guess we will ride with Osweiler and look to the 2019 draft. Hopefully, we're picking in an area where Gase feels comfortable finding a backup to groom.

Plus, it was a good game vs practice squad players lol. I really hope Tannehill doesn’t get injured again

Actually, it does!

I'm not a fan of either but what type of message does it send to the team if Fales lands the back up role when Osweiler out worked him?
