Quentin Moses a Keeper, cause Parcells says so

not too many 3rd rounders are cut so quickly (and by two different teams). i was pleasantly surprised by his effort after we picked him up.

i have no idea if he is going to develop into a player, but if he does there isn't a much better way of acquiring someone.

make no mistake about it , moses is a player who can help us....im not sure why he was relased twice last year but he can defintely help..i know for more i can be bias when talking about him but he really is a good player and could add depth to de position

he is a DE. Not a LB so i'd say make a good DE:D

Well, yeah he's a DE...but, if JT stays, he'd be a OLB in the 3-4 and so on...and he's a regular DE. So, I wasn't quite sure...

Moses was cut by the Raiders for reasons no one really "knows", some say it was a shoving match between Al Davis and Monte Kiffin, others a clearical error.

He was cut by the Cardinals to make room for Tim Hasselback, he didn't really have a chance to play for us until later in the year, he had a couple of sacks in 4 games as I recall.

The last article I read about "Q", he thought of himself as mostly a pass rushing De, not so much as a linebacker.

Why would Al Davis get into a shoving match with the defensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

There's no way Quentin Moses will be a DE in our. But an OLB? Absolutely. As a matter of fact, a lot of scouting reports pegged him as a possible OLB in the 3-4. He already showed he can get to the QB.

i agree 100 percent, last season i could not get why he was being cut, i think he has the potential to be a sleeper star in the NFL and i am glad the dolphins got him and this is a compliment from a gator fan about a bulldog lol

I couldn't agree more. This is a guy who was once viewed as a potential Top 15 pick prior to his Senior Year at GA. I think every mock I looked at before that year had him going in that range. Then he had a down Senior year which caused him to slip a little. Regardless, we have a steal on our hands, because we got him for nothing. We know the talent is there, and I saw some flashes last year, so let's hope it continues this year. Love it!

It's funny to think the Raiders did something right, they drafted him. Then they cut him. Figures...

Moses was the steal of the regular season cuts. Cameron and Mueller did a great job bringing in that guy

Moses was a very pleasant surprise last year and one of the few defensive players I would have said played consistantly well.

Because he is as bad with names as I am.....

I like "Q" I think he has a knack for rushing the passer, his predraft numbers were virtually identical to Rob Ninkovich's though, and on a sour note, if one google's Quentin Moses signed Cardinals, he gives an interview where he psshaws the idea of playing OLB, or even being particularly strong against the run.

In the NFL though, if you can sack the Qb, there is a job waiting somewhere.

Parcells' prototype for a DE is someone n the 290-305 range.

His prototype for a olb is in the 255-270 range.
