Quentin Moses a Keeper, cause Parcells says so

It's funny to think the Raiders did something right, they drafted him. Then they cut him. Figures...
I think I can guess how it happened:
Davis: Hello, is this Wannstache?
DW: Yep, how can I help you?
Davis: This is Al Davis, you know the guy that runs Da Raiders. Just wondering if I could get your advice on who we should cut.
DW: Well, that Quentin Moses guy, that's where I'd start.
Davis: Done! And thank you for your time.

Personally I could agree more. Ireally liked the way the kid played last year and can't wait to see how he performs this year.

Funny, I have said twice this weekend in other threads that I thought that we already had our version of C Pace on the roster in Moses. I thought he was miscast as a DE and would be better suited to 3-4 OLB, he is fast and athletic, strength has not been one of his attributes. Apparently got beat-up being double-teamed his senior year which led to a dramatic drop in his production.

I hate to be negative, but I'm not sure where all this love for Moses is coming from. While it's true that he showed flashes of athleticism when he was chasing down a runner, or had no one impeding his route to the qb, he was down right pathetic when he had someone blocking him.

As for his future, I'm about 99.9% certain he won't make it as a DE in the 3-4 or the 4-3, he'd get crushed, and no one really knows if he'll make it as a OLB, I really hope he does, but, at the same time, it wouldn't really surprise me if he didn't make the team.

Ahhh don't be so negativ :)

But a video where we only see the good stuff doesen't work, rather wants to se where he has problems and se if its small problems or big problems.

cause if he has big problems doing some stuff then he's not good enought.

But lets se, theres a long time yet to the season starts again :)

I have some work to do, but I'll see if I can find a video of him highlighting only his bad plays. :hi5:

I'd like to see Moses stick around.

Moses was once considered a high first rounder but due to a bad year, his stock slipped a lot. Hes a good player at a young age. Keep him. Bring in Darryl Blackstock and play them two as LB's.

I think we snag two more DL and we are done. The list includes:

Ferguson
Holliday
Starks
Wright
Moses
Soliai
Roth

Young guys, except Ferguson, that can be developed into potential pro bowlers. Being young and under the teaching of our coaches, these players hopefully will grow hungry. Not to mention we can keep our d-line fresh in games because of the number of young guys we have.
