Quentin Moses?

I am not real sure what is up with this guy. He bounced around the league a bit in 07' before catching on with us. It seemed like he had a pretty good future but was basically invisible last season. Maybe he will blossom in his third season, but I think he is someone who is probably going to have a hard time making this team.
I don't see him as a possible Porter replacement, because I think the coaching staff has their eye on Cameron Wake being that guy.

That's a good question, I was surprise that he and Wright didn't really get on the field last year.. especially Wright, Quintin did see more time last year than Wright, which surprised me since I thought Wright show a little something in the 07 year on the field.

I saw on a website that he was a free agent but im not sure.
I wouldn't look for him to do anything in the future ut if he does, then I will be pleasently surprised. No high expectations though.
He may be an ERFA, which basically means he is not going anywhere yet.

He is an ERFA, so all we have to do is tender him. It was also his first season at OLB in a 3-4. I think he will get it eventually, it just may take some time. There is just too much talent there not to give him at least another year in my opinion.
Yea I doubt we cut Moses . . . he is a 3-4 OLB candidate, there will be competition to get PT opposite of Porter at SOLB . . . and for depth purposes . . . Moses, Anderson, Wake, Roth . . . and expect 2 more guys for OLB atleast.

:DI think both Wright & Moses, along with Soliai & Allen will get up to speed in 09. If I'm wrong, I'm sure they will not be a part of the roster come training camp.:d-day: If they stick, like Murphy @ LG there is a very good reason. I'm certain if they don't all five make their bones this year they will be turned over @ the end of the season.:up:

He is listed as an ERFA along with Ndukwe on wykopedia. Anybody know when the deadline to tender them is? They become UFA if they aren't tendered right?

Why do so many people look to replace the good players we have? I think the FO is looking to compliment Porter with the Wake signing as opposed to replace him you know what I mean? and I have no doubt we'll probably also draft at least one other prospect with some potential to rush the passer, but that's just because you need depth, and more then one. Joey should still have at least a couple of good years left, but he needs someone to help him on the opposite side.

Yes, I believe so.
i look forward to seeing how moses does this spring in camp. if he takes to this coaching, gets in the weight room and lifts hard, maybe he can really do something in the nfl. opportunity is now and may never come again. i hope he sticks

Who knows? Maybe he'll be a James Harrison someday .. just an LB sitting on the roster who no one really knows about, and then all of a sudden emerge as one of the best..?
