Hey Everyone!

I'm not the most acute observer of the X's & O's of the game so I'm wondering about something and would appreciate some feedback from more astsute fans. It seems to me that Henne is looking around an awful lot (sometimes a bit too frantically in my opinion). I'm wondering what the percentages are between him looking around like this because our WR's stink and how much it is Henne's problem?

P.S. We need 2 new WR's not just one.

P.S.S. For those who always talk about Bess being in
Welker's class, etc- you're all crazy-

P.S.S.S. Our LB's are plain awful.

Peace,
Bret

Brett, Chad is still a young receiver. The game has yet to slow down for him a bit more. Not to mention that our receivers are not getting open fast enough.

the looking around is trying to find the open reciever.
i alway read he stares down 1.

He goes through his progressions well. The reason he's always checking the ball down is because his receivers are not getting separation from the DBs.

I think if we lose next week we'll have a chance at Dez Bryant.

either the receivers cant get open, or he is not a fast decision maker.. one thing is for certain, he has no deep ball accuracy

Henne cant seem to get anything going early on in the game and its really really starting to ****ing annoy me. It seems like he won't even start throwing well unless were down by at least 2 possessions.

This is like the 5th time he's done this. I know we lost our run game and all, but for ****'s sake get an early game lead.

Sometimes he gets to frantic and happy feet's his way through his progressions. I am betting with more experience the game slows down and comes to him. We need a BIG #1 receiver, let Ginn be the number 2 running deeper routes that is is actually good at and Hartline working the slot.

I can't judge Henne until he gets a WR who dosen't take a minute to get opened.

Every single QB in the NFL is going to miss on some deep throws, as typically, they're the type of throw that's going to have the lowest completion %. Henne has overthrown some balls, but he's also thrown some pretty deep balls (like the one to Ginn that got called back). The one thing I've noticed, Henne has actually looked accurate throwing the deep ball when it's to Ginn. Most of Henne's overthrown balls have been when he's targeting a receiver other than Ginn. Ginn is so much faster than every other receiver on the team he creates a larger target to throw to (more separation=larger margin for error). Outside of Ginn, we don't have a receiving option that can get separation.

Donovan McNabb is another guy that has gotten blasted over the years for being inaccurate, particularly with the deep ball. All of a sudden he has two receivers that create a ton of separation (both roughly the same speed) and he's having one of his better NFL seasons, despite having 2 starting wide receivers that lack experience. Another season in the same offense with the same weapons and McNabb should be even better next year (assuming they all stay healthy).

Having said that, I have been a little disappointed in the lack of touch on some of his passes, and I would like to see him hit a few more receivers in stride. If anything, he's shown average downfield accuracy. He certainly hasn't been as bad as what many are trying to make him out to be.

The looking around is a good thing because it means he's not locking in on receivers. The fact that he has to do this a lot is a bad thing because we don't have a legit WR that can get open and make plays consistently.

I think Hartline could be a legit #2 and Bess is a good slot guy. Miami needs a legit #1 receiver but not sure that will happen next year because receivers usually need time to develop and not sure what will be available in free agency and will Miami go out a sign a high priced one or make a trade?

As far as LBs go, well Miami has the slowest LBs in the NFL. Crowder is average at best and not sure any of the others are even that good.

just pray we dont take a 5th rounder in the 2nd like we did in 2009

And, you think we'll take him I assume?!
