I dont think we should take brown at 9 unless he truly impresses at the combine which prob wont happen. I also was wondering if anyone heard anyone knew about what saban said bout alabi is the same in houcks eyes. He said that alabi would be a star in this league and i dont know how true this is but if this is the case then why isnt this guy playing. Granted Mcintosh has played well not great but well i still think alabi should have got more burn.

Now Mike Mayock and NFL Network have him as a top 5 pick. Can you believe it? They have him good enough to ARI at #5. If he's "that" good, and he is there...might as well pick him.

im gonna have to check NFL network out i havnt today at all but why is he a top 5 pick all of the sudden were all week he was a reach at 9

wat about the situation with Alabi though like is he really this good or was saban just tying to make his one draft lok good because he was a f up as an NFL head coach

What about doing a Dixon with Eric Steinback
Is he quick enough.
Instead of just drafting big LT's that are lazy with no mean streak

with the move to LT any way form OG
be a pay increase any way
so the more chance getting him at a price we can afford
maybe a big bargan

Tell me

whta is Brown's character like I so him chewing out a teamate about a bad play. Does he play with fire.

Brown plays with a meanstreak he likes to finish his guy on every play. In the seniorbowl it showed him run blocking crowder and even after the play was downfield he was still running down the fieldlocked on to crowder. He was yelling at his teamate because he got up in Joe Pas face he was just filling his role as captin about not talking bak to the coaches.

believe it or not...mike mayock has him potentially going to ARI at #5!!!

From my limited knowledge of him so far
put him on the board for option at #9

Is this not the postion since the draft with Carey
that was one of the top postions to draft
there was just not any prospects worthy to draft at our pick
one of the hardest postions to draft not a lot of prospects or quality
after QB
Wr lots of prospects just big bust risks

would this not be the pick most benificial for Culpeper
to give him confidence again to return to his old form
his back is covered

if he goes to them at 5 that means a good player wil be falling to us at 9 because this draft was said to have only 8 top prospects, and brown was not one of them.

I agree he is on the board but if someone like Gaines Adams is there i dont know if id take brown unless he is a definite top 10 pick according to our scouts.

levi can be a solid left tackle in this league and like one of the above posters mentioned he tends to have a mean streak and a nasty attitude. you have to love that in your offensive linemen, the desire to just plain whoop the guy across from you and have fun doing it. my thoughts on alabi is that either he starts this year or never will... saban said alot of our players will be good but yet never played them especially our young defensive linemen. Alabi had all the frame, footwork, and smarts coming out of college. With a couple years of nfl strength training under his belt this is the year he will have to make his strongest push for starting yet or next year he may be on the outside looking in if we have anymore LT issues.

Good post alien i agree he has to contribute this year because othawise i dont get what he hell saban was talkin about

god i wish we did...

I gues nobody has an update on the whole how good is Alabi situation

haha, i wish we had a television service where we could watch practice everyday:lol: unfortunately i think the jets, pats, and bills would be watching it just as much as us.
