Question about practice location?

I'm going to my uncles house in Daytona like July 20th until August 1st...are u able to go watch them practice or anything between those dates? If so, where is it located at? i'd make the drive down for the day.

No.

Training camp starts on August 1st.. So unless you plan on extending your outing, you're not going to be able to catch any practices.

ill prob stay so i can see a practice...i dont think the dates have even been announced yet, only a few teams have announced official starting dates so far.

The first football Sunday this year is September 13th which is in the middle of the month (or close to it). The start of training camp is later because the regular season starts later. We used to start the season at the very beginning of September..

And to the last poster, the Dolphins have already set the start of training camp for August 1st... It has been reported as fact in numerous places, including players themselves stating that date as the first day of camp.

Sounds like guarded coachspeak to me. I get the feeling if all three were expected back for the start of training camp Aug. 1, Sparano would have probably just said that. So don't be surprised if one or more of these guys is not ready to go for the first day in pads.

Training camps usually start about two weeks before the first preseason game. Last year the first preseason game was on August 9th. This year it is on August 17th.

It's about a 4 hour drive from Daytona to Davie.

I guess that makes sense. I'm used to training camp starting like July 24th, but i guess thats when the first Sunday of the season is like September 10th or something.

I'm sure some teams start earlier than 8/1 anyway, like the Cowboys for example.
