Question About Recruiting?

I am a gator fan and we already have 27 recruites coming in, this is much more than years previous and they are not even done yet. I was wandering how the gators and other teams make room for the additional recruites. I realize that in previous years they might have had a couple of walk-ons but how do they make room for the rest of the recruites.

This is a semi-related question, do schools have a limit to the number of players they can have on the team, or just the number of scholarships they are allowed to give out?

Just scholarships I believe, although I know they limit the number of players they take to away games. Alot of the bigger schools have to double up on numbers cause they have so many.
