Question about ************* site...?

Hey Guys,

Been a while since I posted over here and I have a question to ask. First and foremost when I post on any Dolphin forum board, I clearly post my opinion, sometimes people take it the wrong way, nonetheless, I posted on the D.D. for something like 9 years and got banned from there because I got too critical about the Coaching staff and players and now it seems I've been banned from the "*************" site, however I have not been directly told that, however for 2 days now, when I try to login, the screen redirects for a while, then it goes directly to a white screen. Tried it many times.

I have tried emailing them and their web-administrator, but have yet to receive a reply.

I know at one time or another some of you guys here were a part of that group and thought maybe you can find out if I have been banned, if so, why.

I certainly would appreciate it.

I got a little upset that we almost lost our game last week and said something I probably shouldn't have said, but I was upset that we couldn't find a way to score a single point in the second half of the Jags game.

I go by the name dolphans1 and sign out as d-1....

Hey Thanks for responding, yeah I'd like to do that, I am not even sure how to pm, I only posted over there like 520 times over the last 3 years or two.

I basically said I was tired of this team losing in the end, we should have beat Indy, the Saints and Buffalo, we had them on the ropes, especially the Saints and Indy. I got critical on the Coaches and boom it happened.

Perhaps I am naive to the politics of the boards. We're talking about players and Coaches making millions of dollars, perhaps they join these sort of boards and become moderators to cut out criticism....?

I can't imagine that, but have any of you guys heard what they say on those talk radios....?

Anyway, if a person can only post positive stuff, then whats the point of positing....?

I know there's more to life than football, and basically we have 32 teams vying to win every week and someone has to lose.

My big beef and I was coming around the corner is, I always said we had to start passing more (and we have), stop giving up those easy big play strikes, and stop those stupid turnovers.

Even though we have won 7 games versus 6, we have given-up way more points than we scored, that's not going to cut it. We have an excellent running game now, and we can pass now.

Anyway, I do appreciate the welcome and the advice...

I however get it, Pittsburgh won last year and look at them now. There's always a chance, just like in Poker, the key is, you have to be on the table.

Sorry, we can not help you find out why you were banned at another site, whether it be another Dolphins site or a site like Gang Green or BillsZone.

Their reasons are their reasons, whether they are fair or not. Like Cedar and D7 have mentioned, you are more then welcome to post here as long as you follow the TOS. This is the largest Miami Dolphins fan site out there and has a lot of quality members. Why settle for less? Why settle for a wooden shack when you could have a castle?

I never knew this site was the # 1 dolphin site. I started on the D.D. many years ago because of their publication and that's how I got there and subsequently to the other site that looks or better said, is structured similarly in format to yours.

I guess I'll just have to accept it whether I like it or not, its unfortunate, but no harm, foul or malicious intent was meant on my part....

Yep, we are the largest site and have built a great foundation since FinHeaven was created way back in 2001.

dolphans1- Some sites believe you have to fall in line with the group. We are a fan site by fans for all fans. The reasons forums exist is so you can come and express yourself about the team. Good or bad. Some simple advice:

1. Make sure your criticisim has a point. Example instead of saying "this is a team of losers and the coaches are idiots!!! I f-ing hate this crap" explain why you think the team is losing, bad play calling, players who are not performing etc.

2. Never take personal shots at someone. If they post something you think is dumb, then tell them why you disagree and its not a good idea. But dont call them a brain dead idiot. LOL!

3. Have fun!!! Win lose or draw we all love the fins and are fans. Regardless of how they play we are a tight community and a family here. We welcome you as part of that.
