Since obviously the schedule for the Marlins and Dolphins makes it so that they never play on the same day at the stadium, how come they cant take off the dirt and put it back on for the baseball games that will probally be 2-3 days later?

They would put grass over the dirt, not the other way around, but since it can't take root, it would slip and slide and be much more dangerous than the dirt itself.

My question is, the Nationals and the DC United both play in RFK. Although most of you have never seen this but DC United NEVER has the dirt infield. It's frieken' soccer and they can have the sod replaced, they cut, they run, they get grass....Why?

I dont know, but I was reading in SI that opposing kickers for the first 4 games have the most success in dolphins stadium, hitting 100% of their fieldgoals. I found that interesting seeing how most of us complain about the dirt for kicking reasons. Very surprizing.

Mare sucks from the dirt.

just have the whole thing as grass and when the marlins play paint the grass brown.

Whatever, it really doesn't matter. If players complain about it, then they should just practice on it to get used to it. (especially Mare)

This year we only have 2 games on the dirt and if it comes down to a field goal with Buffalo or Tennessee, I won't be happy any way. We should blow both of those teams out of the water. I just really hope the Marlins don't make the playoffs.

EDIT: The Marlins would have to make the World series for it to have an effect on the next Fins game so I'm not worried about that.

Every Dolfan...WORLDWIDE!... send HWH $5...that outta offset the $30m investment in FieldTurf...a'ight?!?

NO! I hate the look of field turn and I think football and baseball should both be played on natural grass. I'm not a fan of artificial surfaces. It's all about the grass and I hope the Fins never go to the field turf.

thats right wayne is his middle name isnt it ??

I would prefer to have natural grass to field turf. I would also rather the marlins left and we would not have to deal with this situation anymore.

What is Olindo's record when kicking from the dirt at Dolphin Stadium? Probably not a very good one I would wager.
