Switch the starting quarterbacks from the K.C./Miami game last friday night and tell me the final score of that game.

Really think about this one, this of course assumes Trent Green was here for the off-season and knew our offense and vice-versa for Gus Frerotte.

My point is, I believe the poor quarterback play is hurting us more than many people think. Yes, we have many problems on this team but no one can convince me Trent Green wouldn't have hit the multiple open receivers for touchdowns that Gus Missed.

I'm not suggesting QB is the only problem with this team, only that its more important than some suggest.

You might have a point in this one game, gus missed some wide open ppl, it was unbelievable, because that changes moral and momentum...when KC escaped those TD's and long gainers, I'm sure they felt very comfortable about their chances and went after gus even more..shake him and he'll miss the reciever....now I miss AJ...

So your fictional scenario is saying "Gus is worse than Greene". That is what switching QB's is comparing really. So nobody is going to argue that point. Our D played like arse and so did the O. We had a bad game. Lets see how they respond this week. BTW, the TD Gus missed to booker in the endzone COULD be because there was allot of heat from the KC blitz. Now as for the chambers missed TD.. that was all Gus.

Defense was non existant. Got the ball rammed right down their throats.

THAT is why we lost.

Yup, thier offensive line kicked our butt.

KC has a good offense...the defense is not the reason we lost. Bad throws, bad reads, that is what cost us...and always will with Gus.

No I don't think things change too much. Assuming that Green had a similar understanding of this offense in Miami as he does with the KC offense that still doesn't change the fact that the rest of the offense is more than likely catching up with the QB as far as understanding the Dolphins offense.

IMO that is the BIGGEST issue facing this offense.

Switch to rosenfels and we win, cause they would call less throws and ronnie would grind it out.....

Sage's TD throw was not a better throw to CC than Gus has been throwing at CC. The TWO defenders had a chance to break up that pass. CC made a fantastic play on the ball thrown to him by Sage. He used his God given talent to out leap the TWO defenders to hawl in the pass for a TD. I wish CC played like that when Gus was throwing the same type of passes to CC.

thing is gus's passes would sail 5 yards or be 5 yards too short.
sage made the throw catchable which gus can't do on a consistent basis.

Yea sorry I don't agree with that. Gus has made similar passes to only watch CC not adjust and to not continue to run to the ball.
