Okay, time to clear the air with the "Who's horrible injury is worse?" stuff that has been going on around FinHeaven

For all of you medical students/experts out there (I put KB21's name in because I know for sure he's a medical student) which injury will be more difficult to recover from? The torn labrum of Brees or the torn knee ligaments of Culpepper? I want mostly facts not opinions. I had to ask because I want to know which QB is/was the bigger risk. Thanks for your help

I'm an MD and there is no "factual" answer to your questions of "which injury will be more difficult to recover from?" The answer to that question is "what do you want to do with it?" and "how bad was it when it was injured?" Since I don't have access to any of the medical reports, or MRI results I can't answer that question. Personally, I wanted C-Pep more than Brees because I think, when both are healthy, he's a much better player. What also makes Culpepper better is that his arm is fine and even if he can't run as well, ever again, he still has a cannon and can drop back and throw. That's my opinion. Sorry there are no real answers to your question.
