How do you honestly see yourselves doing this year, I am just curious please only real predictions.

12-14 wins. Win the division and then anything after that is up in the air because once the playoffs start anything can happen.

No less than 12 wins unless they suffer a huge amount of injuries that include Brady among them.

I expect more than 12 wins myself. The schedule could have been a lot worse that it worked out to be (no trip to MIA in Sept; no 3 games on the road back to back, etc). If they lose more than one division game, then 12 would be the max.

Now my next question to you would be why?

Better yet, why not?

They've won less than 12 games in the regular season 4 times in 8 years. Odds are they meet or exceed that number this year.

On paper, they have no evident holes on offense, and few on defense. Certainly less questions than anytime I can remember in the past, except perhaps going into the 2004 season.

Again, on paper, the offense is fielding a stronger unit in 2009 than in 2007, when they broke a boatload of records. If teams had such a hard time defending against the 2007 squad, it seems logical that defending against this roster would be even tougher. Galloway instead of Gaffney? Taylor instead of Kyle Eckel?

According to Belichick in his pre-draft press conference held today, Brady has "been doing his offseason work without any limitations". Thats the major concern many have had going into the season. I'm not one of them.

How about you? Where do you think they'll be at the end of the season & why? 8-8? 9-7?

As much as i hate to say it, hte pats will win 14 this year with 2 close losses... Brady will also come back 100%. You know why? Because he's Brady.

I loved football without Brady last year. I can't wait for him to retire.

i dont think they will do as well as these guys r saying i am thinking that brady is not a 100 percent and they dont have a defence

If the defense is a weak as last year, you might be right. I don't think it will be, but time will tell. They have a big need at OLB. I hope one of the guys on the roster can take some of it, and that they sign JT to fill the gap.

Brady is Brady. If anyone can come back 100%, it's him.

And another thing is your runnng game is spotty

People say that, but I don't see it myself. They were very effective last year even after Maroney, Jordan & Morris went down at times. The UDFA from the practice squad was adequate as a fill-n when that happened. Nothing flashy, but they move the chains when they are called upon.

They will likely never have another 1000yd back unless they draft the next LT. They seem to like spreading the wealth among 4 or 5 guys, all with different strengths. I have no problem going into the year with Taylor, Maroney, Morris & Faulk as the go-to guys. They'll have more than 500 carries between them, as usual

Me personally I believe they go 10-6 and get a wild card bid just because I dont believe that Tom Brady will come back and be full strength and I certainly to not believe in Kevin O Connell

Pats are going 14-2 with the Dolphins sweeping them!!!

So if Tom Brady comes out in week one and throws for 350 yards and 4 touchdowns would this change your prediction?

Sure, but if he comes out and throws for 250 with 2 picks and 2 td will you change yours?

well that depends, is it two horrible picks? or is it two passes that hit off ben watson's hands? whats the completion %? Personally, I feel that opening day would be a bad way to judge Tom Brady's performance for the season. I'll wait until after 3-4 games to change my opinion.
