being up in tallahassee I did not get to watch many fins games on tv (they show the bucs and jags mostly) so I wanted to get the boards opinion on ginn jr. Does he have the ability to be our #1 wr? Anyways thanks in advance,im just trying to find out what we have in him:up:

runs great routes, has great hands.. Isnt afraid of going across the middle... Could be a #1...As it stands right now he is our #1. He was avery pleaseant surprise in the WR area considering Cam drafted him for his return duties and how big his family tree is.

not great size, but look at Steve Smith.
He could be a #1 or a GREAT #2.

Let's see how hard he works this offseason.

definately needs to add some size... question is, if he does how much speed will he lose.

I seen reports that he was focusing on getting bigger this offseason. Getting stronger don't mean you have to lose speed either. In some cases you can even gain speed with the right trainers or knowledge of how to do so.

Hope so

BTW Book I was very pleased with his ability to do so much and not get injured in the process., He was our return man and ended up being our #1 also. He has to be a tough hard working man that will do whatever is ask of him. My favorite thing about him was when we drafted him he said he was coming to camp wheter his contract was done or not and I beleive he was serious. I do beleive he has the skills, heart, and ethics to develope into an elite NFL player.

name the last great return man who was also a good number 1 receiver

I believe I am one of biggest....forgive the pun Ted Ginn Jr fans on the board. I think he will be Steve Smith only faster. I loved the pick then I love it now. I think Brady Quinn was very overrated and our boy will be a star. Sorry Soap

Steve Smith is more solidly built than Ginn... more like Mark Duper was. I'd prefer Ginn to be our #2 WR and avoid the weekly pounding the #1 WR would take. I'd like him to last until we're good again!

I agree with the builds of the 2 being different, my main comparison with Ginn and Smith is the ability to be sudden. Although Ginn is a long strider he is quick as lightning when moving laterally....he will be a great YAC guy. I dont think Duper had the same kind of wiggle that Teddys' got. Moral of the story is we are both correct. I also agree with him being a #2
