Question For those who have attended camp.

It's Coyle's scheme and plays to the traits of our players. Grimes excels at off coverage and is our best CB. It wouldn't make sense to turn him into a press corner.

1 thing is not playing Press. Another is blatantly having them 7-10 yards back and allowing everything caught in front... This was a major problem last year and one that is complete against what should be done when you have a monster DLINE. You do not need to press but you need to be aggresive with a good DL in front of you, Do not give the QB an easy out, to get out of pressure.

Anyone who doesnt understand that does not understand football.

There's a fine line between playing to far up and giving up too much room. I think it really depends on the wideouts we're facing. I don't care how could your D-Line is, when you're playing against great wideouts you need a little room to gain ground on them because you def aren't going to dominate them off the line. You'd much rather give up something underneath than over the top, getting beat off the line over the top before the safety can get over the top is inexcusable. I don't mind them playing off but it's more situational than anything. I do think Coyle will be more aggressive with our D-Line being able to get pressure much sooner but I don't expect to see them pressed up majority of the time. We also have to play to the strength of our players. Some Corners just aren't good pressing, especially since the rules favors the wideouts when it comes to physicality on the outside.
