Question for you longtime fins

After our Raiders W yesterday, lots of people are complaining about the conservative playcalling in the second half. Having followed Norv before, I know thats just him being himself.

Any comments?

Its tough to say Raiderfan. The reason being that Wanstedt was ultimately holding the reins. This fact had to have an influence on Norv's playcalling. If I remember correctly, he was somewhat conservative...


Also, Norv may have been nervous about his first victory and did not want to screw it up. It all depends really.

Norv will pan out don worrry i miss him as o ur Ofeensive coord but Linehan is good , with Norv u never know wat to expect soo donnn worrry

I always hated Norv as our OC but maybe it was DW like someone else said. I was actually really happy to see him go due to his conservative play calling .

welcome to the boards ! Norv is of the school that says you sit on a lead and protect it with conservative mistake free offense and a stubborn defense...oh, and he may have Norvstedt disease.

Sorry, I thought that the question being about Norv during his Miami tenure fit the bill of being a Miami question.
