Saw where Alabi was put in at LT. Was wondering if anyone noticed anything about him. I saw maybe his first 4 or 5 plays, one of which he got away with a hold. Quoting my gf, we "HAD to go Christmas shopping," so missed the rest of the game. Seemed unspectacular, but again, missed an entire quarter.

Thoughts on his play?

Thanks.....

On the first play that he got in, Aaron Shoebol (sp?) blew right past him but it was a run play to the opposite side so it didnt really matter, i just happened to notice it. I really couldent tell you because I didnt pay attention to him that much.

I thought he played pretty well. They did give him some help with the TE.

He also got put on his butt a couple of times.

He did pretty good he didn't give up any sacks which for someone who hasn't played any more then a few plays in his entire career.

I watched him and he did all right for a very young player. Let him and Lemon start the rest of the year and see what they can do.

I thonk Alabi did a nice job standing his ground against a pass rush that didn't have to respect the run. I think he played like our future LT, but I'd like to see him do it for an entire game. Also he looks alot bigger then at any point last year. Either which way Mac's injury may have been the biggest blessing we had from this game just because we get a chance to see Alabi. This by no means that I'm happy Mac was injured, Idon't like seeing injuries.

Alabi was beaten like a drum on virtually every play. He looked very, very slow. He didn't show anything positive.

So what's the bottom line on him for the future?

Starting Potential/Career Backup/Total Bust and Off the Roster

Probably too early to say after just partial playing time I guess.
