Question: If we go with 2 QB's...

How can you hate the wildcat? Watching NE get absolutely wrecked by and seeing Bellichick have absolutely no answer to it was one of the greatest games I'll ever remember.

Yes for one game he had no answer, then the league had plenty of answers

do we have anyone on the roster who can be an emergency QB in the event we lose both QB's in one game.

We can always go with Brady Quinn as the #3 or sign him off he scrap heep should he not stick on the 53 man roster....but if Tanney and Moore both go down, the season is over.

I think he's asking if Tannehill and Moore both go down in the first quarter what would the Dolphins do for the rest of the game. Those calling for Fields or Sturgis to run the team for three quarter are crazy.

The Dolphins probably prepare for this sort of disaster scenario. I'm only guessing but my hunch is that Brian Hartline can throw the ball as well as catch it. His brother was a Quarterback (at Kentucky Wildcats) but I saw him interviewed once and he mentioned that he practiced throwing and catching the ball with his brother for hours as kids. In an emergency situation, the most important attribute needed is leadership and Hartline has that too.
You might find that there's a player who has a really good arm that we don't know about. I recall years ago Patrick Surtain was a top QB in New Orleans until like age 15 or 16. Peyton Manning said Pat used to beat him every year as kids, his goal every year was to beat Surtain and he failed every year. But Pat stopped growing and was smart to move to the CB position.

Like already mentioned, Daniel Thomas would probably become the emergency quarterback(if he even makes the roster). If we do keep two, let's just pray we never find ourselves in a situation where both Tannehill and Moore get hurt.

Unlike previous years where I wanted them to keep 3 quarterbacks, this year I want them to only keep two. We have some depth at other positions like WR and defensive line where it would be nice to keep an extra one of those instead of a third QB. Whatever is decided, we NEED to keep 6 wide receivers.

I'm not against keeping 6 receivers, but I doubt we would have all six active on Sundays. To me if Miami keeps five receivers and releases Binns, Cone and Williams the odds are that one of the three won't be picked up and could be re-signed during the season if needed. Plus you might have insurance with someone like Hazel on the practice squad.
