Question on behalf of a banned user

In addition to spending time here, I have become a semi-regular fixture at the site cincybengals.com. It's a tiny board compared to this one, but the people are nice.

I have been approached by a Raiders fan who goes by "Tha rock" who posts there. He indicates that he was banned because he couldn't login to his first account and opened a second one. The accounts were apparently "oaklandraider" and "Tha rock".

The guy appears to have been a solid citizen over at cincybengals.com and would like to come back here. He tells me that Bengal Dave, the moderator at cincybengals.com as well as people at raiderfans.net can vouch for him if necessary.

I'm posting this for him and will link him back to it so he can see anything the moderators have to say.

Many thanks. I'm not the most familiar with the guy, but he seems nice and concerned with doing it right from what I have seen.

You know, looking back at past history, it looks like this guy was just banned for a couple of days due to some confusion with his signature. I have PMed him suggesting he try logging in as Oaklandraider to see if he's okay. If so, I think maybe he just misunderstood what "ban" means around here.

To follow up, he tried to log in as "Oaklandraider" and got a message that his IP was banned. I hope this is helpful.
