does anyone else notice he is under center a lot in third and long? is it a comfort thing for him? i would assume you'd want him in gun on obvious passing situations so he can read and react better to blitzes and see the field better....... anyone have an idea on why this is?

I noticed that too.. it seems we are rarely ever in shotgun.. although usually when you are in shotgun it is because you are in 3rd and long and I we arent in thrid and long too much-so i guess thats a good thing.

we dont go shotgun much... look at teams like the Pats and Colts and they run shotgun 10x more than us... thats just the way Henning does it

even on passing downs going 1 wr 2 te does not help.
it lets the D get 9 men in the box knowing that ginn is the fastest wr on the team and he is on the bench, there is no deep threat.
Bess and cam are too slow to cause double coverage.

Yea wait till Henne gets some weapons.

Throwing to Williams on a wheel route in the back of the endzone was probably our best bet on one of Henne picks.

Having Cam on the field with Haynos and Fasano on obvious passing downs is an outright joke. How we compete with teams with a lot of talent and speed on defense, I do not know. Just wait till we get some talent, we will become dominant.

I just don't understand why we don't line up in the gun more!!!!!!! That Pats game we did so well with Henne in the gun...I don't get it.
