Just a quick question that has been bugging me.
Minnesota are apparently going to sign Jared Allen to a sheet after the draft that will send a 2009 and 2010 first round pick to Kansas City for him. Now, lets say Minnesota have the 15th pick in each of those drafts.
My question is then, is there anything to stop the Vikings calling up the team with the 32nd pick in each draft and swapping picks. For instance , could a team call up the giants, swap the 15th overall for the 32nd overall and receive an additional 3rd and 5th rounder say? You would be totally screwing the Chiefs out of it but the other two teams involved would win big.
Any law against this?
Thanks
