Ok you all know i dont like Daunte and i think Joey is far better, hell ive been getting banned since day 1 of the Daunte signing because of it. So explain to me if he is so good wny did he do so bad last year?
 
I am so sick of these threads nobody has to prove anything to you.
 
What exactly makes Joey far better? Is it the no pro bowls, the no playoff births, or is it the getting shipped out of the offensive powerhouse known as detroit?

Don't take this as a bashing of Joey harrington, i believe he is one hell of a solid backup, i just don't believe you can make grand statements of his superiority to culpepper.

It might be his having 60 TDs to 70 turnovers in his career...:eek:

I don't think Daunte is the second coming of Marino, but I don't know how you can say Joey is better. OK, he had a better pre-season, but, that's pre-season. There is nothing else to say he is better than Culpepper, not last year (both QB's had a 72 QB rating last year), not their career, nothing. What makes you think He is better?
 
you all know why Joey did bad last year and every year before look at the team he was on and dont say look at the team Daunte was on because Brad came in and almost got them in the playoffs
 
daunte last year was the only offense they had, they had no running game, they had no offensive line

the reason brad did so well, they had a relativly weak schedule with detroit, cleveland, packers

when brad came in they changed the offense, to more slants and quick passes

daunte is better when he can throw the ball down field

the Vikings gave up an average of 14 points a game in those games that Brad Johnson won last year...

the Vikings gave up an average of 25 points a game with Daunte Culepper.......

just remember culpepper has fumbled more times than he has played games!! BUT is still believe that he is a better QB that joey
