I was listening to the fan 590 here in Toronto and heard some guy say the miami/dallas trade is the HOTTEST talk at the superbowl, talking about brown's injury and that he may be trade bait down the road and that barber was one of parcells favourite


My question is not related to this... he said free agency was around the corner, i looked all over the net and cannot find an exact date...any ideas? Does it start in February?
 
There was a post earlier on the website that I believe said February 29th.

The deadline for teams to tender their RFA is March 1st. Then their is one day for teams to sort through free agents. Then the FA signing period begins March 2nd and ends April 20th at 4 pm
 
i doubt Jones would do that trade. Why give up a proven commodity back in Barber in order to grab an unproven back in McFadden all while paying McFadden SERIOUS bucks, more in fact, that he'd be paying Barber to keep him around? Doesn't make sense for Jones to do that trade.

But he's from Arkansas you say? Well then why wouldn't he grab Felix Jones down near the bottom of the first where he picks, as Jones is the more complete NFL-type runner of the two.... Then he gets his back at a lot cheaper price without requiring him to give up the farm in picks.

the trade is fun to speculate about, but it ain't happening.

hahahahaha ends on the best day ever. Ricky better not participate though. I'll be participating enough for myself him and the rest of the NFL hahaha

If they added another 20 minutes it would be a true 420

I don't know jerry jones has made some crazy moves in the past, like giving up 2 1st round picks for joey galloway and having 1/3 of his salary cap tide up in Aikman, Irvin, Deion, Nate Newton, etc. when they were no longer on the team. Maybe he has come full circle, he's back to doing crazy deals like we use to see. He has already hired capers, and houck without wade phillips approval and then made jason garrett the highest paid assistant in football.
