I was hoping one of the football gurus could answer a question for me. I am watching the 2018 game between the Ravens and the Cheifs, The Cheifs were penalized for illegal formation because the left tackle was not covered by a receiver. Is that right?

The NFL has formation rules unique only to itself.

At any other level, you just need a 7 man line with 5 legal numbers on it.
